Northeast Integration Training

Nolan Male and Richard Scholl from Worthington Distribution facilitated the Northeast Integration Training at Leviton’s beautiful training facility in Melville, NY.  The class was full, with attendees from novice to veteran levels of experience.

Five manufactures were in attendance. Leviton, Leviton Security and Automation, Russound, Somfy, and Yale.   A tour was given of Leviton’s Corporate facility.

Tom West of Leviton presented an in-depth look at Leviton’s Vizia rf+ lighting control.  Dave Davis of Russound did a great overview of the Russound DMS 3.1 and C-Series controllers.  Fabio Ziccardi of Somfy reviewed the concepts of selling window covering solutions with world-class motors.  Tiffany Mayo of Yale spoke about door hardware selling points as well as technical installation tips. Nolan Male of Worthington Distribution concluded the day by teaching how to integrate all of these great standalone technologies together with a Leviton Security and Automation Omni controller.

Worthington Distribution Unveils New Window Treatment Support Website

Our newly-redesigned window treatment website went live today (please click here to check it out). At the time of this post, the website provides an overview of motorized window treatments, information on Somfy-powered roller shades and drapery tracks, as well as a frequently asked questions section. Throughout the next few weeks, we will add information on Lutron honeycomb shades, ESI motor control options, and additional solutions for Somfy motorization.

With a focus on the simplicity of ordering and installing motorized treatments along with the sales opportunities present in every automated home, we’ve designed the website to give our dealer base a business-building tool. We provide new customers with everything they need to add motorized window treatments to their product offerings and grow their business. For returning window treatment customers, we’ve made some major changes to our shade and drapery track ordering processes to make them much simpler.
