Worthington Distribution Sponsors Z-Wave Interoperability Pavillion at CES

Worthington Distribution in conjunction with the Z-Wave Alliance is sponsoring an Interoperability Pavillion in the Z-Wave Alliance (Booth 20800 in the South Hall) at the 2013 CES in Las Vegas; January 7-10. The Pavillion will show the convergence of products from HAI, Leviton, Somfy, Kwikset (Stanley Black & Decker), Yale (Assa Abloy), RCS, Mi Casa Verde, Evolve, Radio Thermostat of America Corporation and Aeotec. Each manufacturer’s product works together to show features available in primary and secondary homes. “Z-Wave has managed to provide our industry with an RF technology that allows products from many different companies to work together. We are excited to be part of this key evolution in our industry and to show the product interoperability to CES attendees.” says Richard Scholl, President of Worthington Distribution. The Pavillion will include integration of key home systems including mobile device control, security, notification, lighting, window treatment control, communicating door locks, scheduling, thermostat control and energy management.

Worthington Distribution Shade Installation

The Worthington Distribution Shade program has allowed dealers to add motorized window treatments to the list of products and services they offer to their customers.  The program is designed to make product selection, measuring, specification, installation and setup easier.  The latest addition to the program is a new presentation that chronicles the steps taken as shades were hung in the conference room.  The presentation shows each step from measurement through limit setting and integration with an HAI Omni Pro II.

December 2012 Worthington University Was A Huge Success

Last week Worthington Distribution held the last Worthington University for 2012 and it was a huge success.  With 21 dealers in attendance, this was the largest session of the year.  We would like to thank our generous sponsors and guest speakers from Russound, Leviton, HAI, EverFocus, 2GIG, iRule, Somfy, DSC, and Mux Lab.  Without our sponsors help we would not be able to keep class to a low cost of $99 per company.   Keep your eye on the Worthington University website, we will be posting the 2013 schedule soon.  Thank you to the dealers that spent a week of their time with us, we had a great time and look forward to having you in future Worthington Distribution trainings.
